If you are one of the 100,000 plus couples getting married in Australia this year, chances are you will have a lot of major decisions to make about your wedding, especially your wedding bombonieres. Wedding bombonieres are used in all weddings as as token of appreciation to thank your guests for sharing your special day with you. Bombonieres are also made to be mementos that guests can keep to remember your special day, so it is a good idea to select your bomboniere colours carefully and ensure that they suit the overall theme you have chosen.

Bomboniere is just the Italian word for wedding favour, which is a small token gift you give your guests to thank them for coming to the wedding. In the old days only the wealthiest families gave wedding favours to their guest normally in the form of sugar cubes.   After the price of sugar decreased less wealthy families could give wedding favours to their guests. Over time the giving of sugar cubes faded out and was replaced by other food items such as sugar-coated almonds, and other sweet treats as their wedding bomboniere by the bride & groom.   Typically the sugar-coated almonds were wrapped in tulle and attached to a small gift for each guest or couple, such as photo frame or a small vase. However these days bombonieres have evolved to the point that they are more stand alone and most usually incorporated into the table design.

Below are some of our newest wedding bombonieres and accessories.
